Fantasy Art of Exotic Women

Updated on June 25, 2014

I Search for Fantasy Art in All Things

Fantasy is an elusive thing that often seems to come and go, depending on your mood and sometimes your age. So easy as a child of course, but now you are all grown up it is sometimes hard to use our imaginations. . Art, done in paintings, sculptures, poetry, sometimes pixie fairy stories, all bring us closer to a vision made tangible from our imagination. How glorious! Yet why should it be important? What does it bring us?

Emotions are intangible, nebulous and can come from no where at all. We can smell something and suddenly we are brought back to a place in time where we felt something significant, and in that moment even our heart can flutter. We can even be moved to tears, or we might giggle or feel like singing. Emotions are portrayed in all of the arts and in those creative expressions we can be brought back to our personal lifeline and what makes us individuals.

Doing art, is creating something that did not exist until what you imagined is made. We might now always be able to create exactly what our heart told us to, but we keep trying. I for one think this is a longing for a closeness to our creator.. the ultimate creator of all. I think their is a desire to emulate the creator and we do that best by creating things. It is our connection with spirit.. in our creator and in ourselves.

TURN ON THE MUSIC "Glitter in the Air"

This Journey of Fantasy ~ Open Your Own Cage Door.

Sometimes we miss it.

Sometimes we think we cannot possibly create what is in our hearts.

But don't let that story stop you. Say no to doubt.

Yes I will keep trying, I will try and get better at what I do.

I will continue on this journey called life.

Open the cage door.. release your potential.

Fantasy art of exotic women, pixie fairies, landscapes,

surround yourself with music.

The story of Lily, my sometimes inner child...

There she stood

faltering fairy

Lily

expressing what she needed

and who she hoped she would be

by next Winter

and the Winter after that.

Too soon that story ended.

Calendars taken for granted

somehow

past what we all think and hope for

and past

what we think

we all mean

or at least what people talk about.

I saw her in the Summer

years ago now

discontent

no longer accepting

of her boundaries

ready to pursue lit candles

in honor of what was missing

from her limited

singing

life.

Roads ahead

would be painfully dusty

turns would bare no signs

no hints of

"Do Not Enter"

lest you lose your way

completely.

No mistakes displayed

to learn from

to feel chastened by

no

only

the emptiness

of an unmet climb.

Discarded

finally

boundaries from someone else's

pleasure

lessons from a book

she could no longer believe in.

Dinner set for one

strings

puppets

learn to dine

alone

or they will never meet their circumstances

or at least not well

self survival

never understood.

For whatever hope

that Spring might have brought

flowers finally waking

despite their once frozen spaces

Lily

felt

dismay.

While measuring whatever could be

she forgot to measure

what had already been.

Storm clouds coming

and going

it really doesn't matter

no

not anymore.

Lily worried...

There would be no traveling

no new sites to fly in.

There would be no dining out.

No galleries of passion

to understand

past

the glamour of magazines

and sights seen

on TV.

There would be no voyages

though her cage door

had been opened.

For despite what she had cried about

and claimed as her wanting

this flower

fairy

was simply too afraid

to make

yet another

failing

flower space.

Standing over other roses

last rites

deep breaths

those flowers lied.

Their colors change

after blooming

no matter the season

hues groomed

buds in vases

when gathered too soon

dry

to never bloom

at all.

Yet no..

Lily did not die

the assumed

conclusion

deep dark sighs.

She found herself

in new surroundings

true

yet even though

she became accustomed

to never following through

on her dream schemes

Yet the changes Winter brings

white turned to greens

Sleeping Lily

opened her eyes.

Do you accept only perfection?

You don't have to be perfect, and neither does your art. You only need to create, feel the beauty in that.
