Osho-Spiritual Teacher - Creativity Teacher
Osho-Spiritual Guide and Creativity Teacher
OK so who is the long haired grey haired guy with the beard? Is that what you are thinking?
Get past that IF that bothers you cause wow oh wow this guy has a LOT to tell you.
YOU WILL BE BLESSED... IF you open your heart.
I need to get into the realm of creativity.. sometimes it feels just out of reach and you just can't seem to reach that level of heart, mind meeting the hand, ya know what I mean? "CREATIVITY Unleashing the Forces Within" one of the best purchases I have ever made.
About 12 years ago I was at a bookstore and noticed a book written by Osho called,
"CREATIVITY Unleashing the Forces Within"
I have loved Osho ever since. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I took the book everywhere with me for a long time. There are quotes in the book that I copied off and put around the house to remind me just how close imagination can be. It is only as far as you let it be. I am reminded of Albert Einstein who said that "Imagination is better than knowledge." When we strive toward it we are rewarded with its glorious presence that was there all the time.
Osho is a spiritual guide and teacher who writes with eloquence and wisdom. He teaches creativity because that is the very essence of God. That is what I think anyway.
So do you think I recommend Osho's book about creativity? Oh YES~ Indeed I do!
Aloha, Kathy

OSHO and Creativity
Creativity: UN-leashing those forces that block it all. That is what this book is all about.
We all experience blocks. We struggle and hope for a break through.
I personally consider every single human being to be an artist... of some sort.
"Hey what?" I hear some of you say. I say back YES YOU!!
Creativity is not just set aside for the few, it belongs to ALL if us, and that means YOU!
IF you need to connect with the artist that you are? This is a glorious book that will help you on that road.
Osho Quotes
A few more quotes from Osho discourses below, but just let me say, quotes, in my opinion? Should be copied off and taped EVERYWHERE if they resonate with you. OK... it can look sloppy I guess and your fridge will look messy for sure.. tee hee.. who cares! Feed your spirit!!
Mind can accept any boundary anywhere. But the reality is that, by its very nature, existence cannot have any boundary, because what will be beyond the boundary - again another sky. That's why I'm saying skies upon skies are available for your flight. Don't be content easily. Those who remain content easily remain small: small are their joys, small are their ecstasies, small are their silences, small is their being. But there is no need! This smallness is your own imposition upon your freedom, upon your unlimited possibilities, upon your unlimited potential.
Experience life in all possible ways -- good-bad, bitter-sweet, dark-light,
summer-winter. Experience all the dualities. Don't be afraid of experience, because the more experience you have, the more mature you become.
Ecstasy is our very nature; not to be ecstatic is simply unnecessary. To be ecstatic is natural, spontaneous. It needs no effort to be ecstatic, it needs great effort to be miserable. That's why you look to tired, because misery is really hard work; to maintain it is really difficult, because you are doing something against nature.
Remain in wonder if you want the mysteries to open up for you. Mysteries never open up for those who go on questioning. Questioners sooner or later end up in a library. Questioners sooner or later end up with scriptures, because scriptures are full of answers. And answers are dangerous, they kill your wonder.
All the Buddhas of all the ages have been telling you a very simple fact: Be -- don't try to become. Within these two words, be and becoming, your whole life is contained. Being is enlightenment, becoming is ignorance.
Truth cannot be defined, although it can certainly be experienced. But
experience is not a definition. A definition is made by the mind, experience comes through participating. If somebody asks, "What is a dance?" how can you define it? But you can dance and you can know the inner feel of it. God is the ultimate dance.
To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
Great Osho stuff
OSHO = KIND
Osho was indicted on thirty-five counts in Multnomah County, Oregon on 28 October 1985: charges included immigration violations and making false statements on his visa application. He agreed to pay $400,000 in fines and was deported from the United States.
I guess you need to judge for yourself if Osho was so bad in doing this. I know that I only see him as I always have.. kind.

Richie Havens
About Richie Havens:
Richie Havens (born January 21, 1941) is an American folk singer and guitarist. Havens is perhaps best known for his intense rhythmic guitar style, soulful covers of pop and folk songs and his opening performance at the Woodstock Festival. Havens uses open D tuning on the guitar. By fretting all strings it produces a major chord on any position on the neck of the guitar.
Musical style...
Havens is noted for his guitar skill. Some of his recordings feature a drum sound that is actually his foot tapping on the floor. His guitar playing makes extensive use of open tunings and an unconventional thumb-fretting style. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in 1971, John Lennon stated that Havens "plays a pretty funky guitar".
Havens rarely writes his own songs but often applies his distinctive style to the works of others, notably Bob Dylan and the Beatles.

Rumi Quotes
Thinking gives off smoke to prove the existence of fire. A mystic sits inside the burning. There are wonderful shapes in rising smoke that imagination loves to watch. But it's a mistake to leave the fire for that filmy sight. Stay here at the flame's core.
The ground's generosity takes in our compost and grows beauty!. Try to be more like the ground.
The universe and the light of the stars come through me.
When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.
Reason is powerless in the expression of Love.
Like a thief reason sneaked in and sat amongst the lovers eager to give them advice. They were unwilling to listen, so reason kissed their feet and went on its way.
If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?
If the foot of the trees were not tied to earth, they would be pursuing me.. For I have blossomed so much, I am the envy of the gardens.
A really religious person has no theology. Yes, he has the experience, he has the truth, he has that luminosity, but he has no theology.
A Zen master used to say, "It is clear and so it is hard to see. A dunce once searched for a fire with a lighted lantern. Had he known what fire was, he could have cooked his rice much sooner.
All beings are from the very beginning Buddhas. It is like water and ice: Apart from water, no ice, outside living beings, no Buddhas. Not knowing it is near they seek it afar, what a pity!
All that is great cannot be possessed - and that is one of the most foolish things man goes on doing. We want to possess.
All that you need is just to be silent and listen to existence. There is no need of any religion, there is no need of any God, there is no need of any priesthood, there is no need of any organization.
Become more and more innocent, less knowledgeable and more childlike. Take life as fun - because that's precisely what it is!
Don't seek, don't search, don't ask, don't knock, don't demand - relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.
Doubt is the vestibule which we all must pass through before we can enter the temple of truth.
Enlightenment is the understanding that this is all, that this is perfect, that this is it. Enlightenment is not an achievement, it is an understanding that there is nothing to achieve, nowhere to go.
