Words that end with the letter Q
Scrabble: Words That End With the Letter Q? Well Maybe Just a Few
Scrabble is a super popular game as you know. It is a great game to get that old brain thinking, yup exercise it with a little competition! Ever play with a child and have them beat you? If that has ever happened to you it sounds like more game playing is in order!! lol. Our thinking cap can get rusty so we need to oil it once in awhile.
Here then is a poem I wrote about playing Scrabble and the letter "Q"
~~*~~
Words that end with the letter Q?
There are no words that end with the letter Q
You.. silly QUasimoto!
I need them for Scrabble as well
but alas
checking under every cover
every avenue to discovery
my dictionary
my google friend
no, no, no!
A Q cannot be the end.
Q is not a lonely letter
It loves to cuddle with a U
it finds one every chance it gets
no regrets
and wakes up in the morning
still cozy
next to its loyal lover.
So no lamenting for this letter Q
YOU.. silly QUasimoto.
And by the way
speaking of Q's
a cue to you
what is a QUasimoto
today on the scene?
Not a hunchback character
It's urban talk you see
an alter ego
of a high pitched rapper
spaced out
on stoned beats
singing in the streets.
Ahh me
it is all as silly as it can be
the Q in QUasimoto
lending me reason
if not a rhyme in time
selected from my imagination.
Sitting at my station
waiting for my Q to bring
not a single thing
but a U
'cause its a wonderful thing
to sing
of all the virtues U does bring
to a Q
in this dream.
I now seem to know it quite well
by my expression here
becoming QUite clear
in this QUriky poem
that sings alone for Q.
I have never met a U
that I did not find intriguing.
Yet I confess
I have often grown weary of them.
U, Ewe, You
must the subject always be so one sided?
I find myself saying
QUit it U
enough of YOU!
...and by the way
what ever happened to your oft seen companion
that dear sweet letter Q?
Yes, try to remember Q.
Humm U?
Does Q tire of your self absorbed conversations?
Never!
Sadly for Q it is true U
You do not need Q!
I see you
roaming about without Q
all the time!
But just remember U
you DO indeed need Q
to say,
"You silly QUasimoto."
So back to my travail
the Q that must always have a tail.
It alas is understood
Q never stands alone.
No matter how you've grown
you will always find a home
with other friends
that help you or ewe or U
to end this silly QUasimoto story.
You Q
will always finds a special glory
in a QUasimoto story
who will always see the value
in a U
a U that must be humbled
because it needs you, Q!
Words that end with the letter Q?
NO.. they simply don't exist!
Well...maybe just a few.

Are there TRICKS to Scrabble? Or maybe some TIPS? YES YES YES
5 Tips To Improve Your Scrabble Game - by James D Preston
If you're a fairly new player to the classic board game, Scrabble, then unless you're a whiz with words you may find that you're left a little embarrassed, particularly if you're playing with people who've played the game many times before. The remainder of this article will provide you with a few tips and tricks you can use to help improve your very first few games of Scrabble.
Top Tip 1 - Using Two Letter Words
This is one of the easiest ways to increase the number of points you can earn in your Scrabble game. Just because you're playing a word game doesn't mean that you have to come up with the most complex words. There are many two letter words in the English language such as "to", "of", "it", as well as many others, providing you place these words in the right place on the board they can often lead to a good number of points. These shorter words are particularly useful when you are stuck for a new word.
Top Tip 2 - Utilizing The "Q" Words
The letter Q is a high scoring letter in Scrabble, used in the right place this letter can bring you in a lot of points. It's a letter which often instills dread into people when they see it in their own letter set and that's why you should make sure you're prepared by memorizing all the words beginning with the letter Q.
Top Tip 3 - Being Familiar With "Bingo" Words
Making yourself familiar with some of the Scrabble "bingo" words is a great way of getting extra points. The bing words are 6 letter words in Scrabble which, if you add one more letter, can make a full 7 letter word. Again, this is another great tip if you're stuck for words or if someone comes up with a high point word which you can better by adding one letter.
Top Tip 4 - Shuffle Away
It sounds like a strange tip but it's true, if you mix around your letter tiles a few times it can stimulate your brain into coming up with new words which you would otherwise not be thinking of. So when you see your letters for the first time, if you can't think of anything try mixing them up again for a few times to see if any words start to spring to mind.
Top Tip 5 - Read More & Write More
Reading and writing more will improve the English vocabulary in your mind, it will enhance your spelling ability and the ability to come up with new words.
Overall, our top tips for improving your Scrabble game include using two letter words if you're stuck for ideas, coming up with words that start with the word Q, learn the bingo words, shuffle your letters and read more.

Play Free Scrabble Online Today
One of the World's most beloved games is available now online and you can play for Free! Not only that, you can win some money. Continue reading this article, and I will give you some history on the game of Scrabble, as well as some great information on the natural progression of this game to the internet. Grab a cup of coffee and let me tell you a little about this game...
The History of Scrabble
The game of Scrabble is for word lovers. Points are scored by making words from individual letter tiles. Words can be formed up, down and across on a grid-like game board. The origins of the game go clear back to 1938 when a similar game called Lexiko was invented. In 1948, the manufacturing rights were purchased by James Brunot. He revamped the rules and changed the name to "Scrabble." The game got its big break in 1952 when the president of Macy's, Jack Strauss discovered the game. He decided that everyone should have the game and began to sell such large quantities that Brunot could no longer keep up with the orders. The rights of the game were then sold to Selchow & Righter. The game has changed hands several times but the concept is still the same. Scrabble even became a TV game show in 1984.
Scrabble Board Game Set Up
The game board is made up of a 15-by-15 grid of cells or squares. Each one will accommodate a single letter tile. There are 98 letter tiles ranging in value from 1 to 10 points. Common letters are worth fewer points, whereas harder letters to use such as Z or Q are worth the highest points. There are also 2 blank tiles that can be used to substitute any letter, but they are worth 0 points. Some of the squares on the board are colored differently. The tile that lands on these special cells can cause the points of that word to be doubled or even tripled.
To decide who will get to go first, each player must draw a letter tile. The letter closest to the beginning of the alphabet will go first. Each player then draws seven tiles. During each turn, a player can decide to both pass and forfeit the turn, exchange one or more tiles for an equal number from the leftovers in the bag, or form a word on the board and scoring the accumulative points. The first player starts in the center of the board and words are formed from there. After playing a word, the player draws more letter tiles from the bag to once again have seven tiles on his rack. According to the rules, the game is over when either someone plays all seven of his tiles and there are no more left in the bag, or when six successive scoreless turns have occurred and the score is not zero-zero. The scores are then tallied, but each player must subtract any points remaining on his rack.
Scrabble Goes Online
A fairly recent phenomenon has been born - Free Online Scrabble. A number of sites offer the possibility to play Scrabble online against other users. Many websites have the game available to play free. Some companies have had to change the name slightly to avoid lawsuit from Hasbro and Mattel, the current makers of the game. However, regardless of the controversy, online Scrabble has taken off exponentially. Mattel has its own version of free online Scrabble, as well as The International Scrabble Club, http://www.pogo.com, and hundreds of others. By simply googling Free Online Scrabble, one can bring up over a half a million hits. However, you decide to play, whether it is the old-fashioned way or using the latest of modern technology, you are sure to learn something when playing this game.
